‘Covid-eo’ is a passion project born out of boredom during the silence of the world during the corona crisis. Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s speech made a big impact in the Netherlands at the time. For this reason, we chose to strongly dramatise this story, as a reflection on current events.

The story revolves around people getting infected and turning into zombies, with the people having to find shelter quickly. During the crisis, toilet rolls were in high demand, so the protagonist stuffs as many rolls as possible into his bag before leaving for his hideout. The video ends with him arriving at the shelter after shaking off a zombie. However, at the last second it turns out that all was in vain

At the time, this video went viral on the internet and reached hundreds of thousands of views, highlighting current events in a creative way.
